Monday, October 20, 2008 at 06:07PM There seems to be lots of conflicting information on how best to complete this task. Now I don't like this migration procedure as any corruption built up over the years can cause problems, but sometimes (as in a case I had) the ability to re-install a software package wasn't available.
Thursday, August 28, 2008 at 03:37PM Finally, a Mini Notebook that has built in 3G. This is how it should be done. After various hacks to squeeze the HSDPA unit into the Asus machines, LG have put one directly to their new small laptop.
I haven't had much luck with their customer service for monitors mind you, but perhaps the laptop department is better?
Check out the machine here.

Tuesday, June 17, 2008 at 07:43PM Released tonight, Firefox 3.0 is showing it's slick new interface and fast downloads. And it is quick, visibly. It also features searching previous websites visited. We're big fans of the Firefox here, and this is all set to be a good'un!
Monday, January 14, 2008 at 03:43PM Now this would be a very cool way to use an iPhone in a Starbucks near you one day. Select your drink and hold the phone at the till to be read. Coffee-Tastic!

Friday, January 11, 2008 at 11:28AM Google's mobile version of it's mapping system has some new features, though still in beta. Using the radio tower that's suppling the phone signal, Google's software (downloaded and installed to your smart phone) can then work out roughly where you are. It will incur data costs if your mobile contract doesn't include Internet downloads. But when you're trying to find a street it really is a great way to find the information.

Tuesday, August 14, 2007 at 02:04PM After the issues with Sony batteries, along comes Nokia with problems relating to charging. No fireballs this time, just a nasty case of swelling.
Now the only problem is Nokia have done quite well in selling the odd phone or two, so this is going to affect quite a few people. If you have a Nokia phone click here to check if you need to have the battery replaced.
